Catholic Education Opportunity Fund

Sustaining Catholic education, school by school.

A national 501(c)(3) Scholarship Granting Organization.

We channel Federal Scholarship Tax Credit contributions to Catholic schools sponsored by religious orders — protecting each school’s charism while handling the compliance, donor tools, and scholarship administration.

The opportunity

The Federal Scholarship Tax Credit is a rare structural gift to Catholic education.

Beginning January 1, 2027, the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit allows U.S. taxpayers to redirect a portion of their federal income tax to certified Scholarship Granting Organizations. Donors receive a dollar-for-dollar credit. Students at participating Catholic schools receive scholarships. Schools keep their mission.

CEOF was founded to ensure that Catholic schools sponsored by religious orders — and the families they serve — participate fully in this opportunity.

“Established in the belief that every child deserves a quality education.”

Inspired by John Baptist de La Salle, who worked tirelessly to sustain schools for the young, especially those in need. We are committed to strengthening Catholic education for generations to come.
